Below are the color paper choices Shadow Poetry offers for chapbook covers. These papers are high quality cardstock varying in weights and textures from 65lb to 110lb depending on manufacture. Glossy cover paper is available at an extra cost; however, print quality may appear lighter than desired. Unless stated otherwise, chapbook covers are printed with black ink only, but most covers (if applicable) can be printed in color for an additional fee. Shadow Poetry suggests a light colored cover should you want your chapbook covers printed with colored ink. If you don't see the paper color you want, email us, and we will see if we can get it.

Shadow Poetry offers authors who want to go the extra mile in designing their chapbooks with the choice of colored interior paper. Traditionally, Shadow Poetry prints on plain 24lb white paper at no additional cost. Please keep in mind should you choose a paper color other than plain white that the paper color compliments your cover paper and design. There is a $30.00 additional fee for up to 50 copies for 24lb smooth interior color paper, and $60.00 for up to 50 copies for the 24lb textured papers (parchment and granite). For the ultimate presentation and elegance, Shadow Poetry offers authors colored inserts (a sheet of paper separating the chapbook cover from the title page/last page of the book. All of the smooth 24lb papers on the previous page are available for inserts as well as black and luxurious translucent papers. There is a $20.00 additional fee for up to 100 copies using the smooth 24lb paper, and $40.00 per 100 in the translucent. See pricing guidelines for higher print numbers.
