Gehenna (Swap Quatrain)
Three rulers here, in Lake of Fire,
A blazing furnace, their empire,
Their calling card: Pain and Fear,
In Lake of Fire, three rulers here.

The prophet false, Sheol his home,
His castle burning with brimstone,
Followers suffer in his vaults,
Sheol his home, the prophet false.

The Antichrist, known as the Beast,
His dead disciples now his feast,
His church’s blood, his thirsts suffice,
Known as the Beast, the Antichrist.

The Dragon rules, the Hadean world,
Here where self-made gods were hurled,
Where burning brimstone never cools,
The Hadean world, the Dragon rules.

Hell’s souls condemned, forever lost,
Destined to pay the awful cost,
Absent God, endless time they spend,
Forever lost, Hell’s souls condemned.

The unquenched flame, forever burns,
Within Gehenna’s rife caverns,
The worm lives on where Satan reigns,
Forever burns, the unquenched flame.

In the Garden
Jesus was there, in the garden,
to supplicate.
Satan was there, in the garden,
to savor.
Angels were there, in the garden,
to sustain.
Disciples were there, in the garden,
to support.

The disciples
slept
The angels
strengthened
Satan
sneered

Jesus
surrendered.

Legion (Pantoum)
My name is Legion, for we are many,
Together we serve the great fallen one.
We take up our seat in church and abbey,
To those in the world we are Hell’s statesmen.

Together we serve the great fallen one,
Recruits are taken from all walks of life.
To those in the world we are Hell’s statesmen,
Our gift to the church is internal strife.

Recruits are taken from all walks of life,
Professor, surgeon, church deacon and priest.
Our gift to the church is internal strife,
Our aim to turn saints to serve the great beast.

Professor, surgeon, church deacon and priest,
We find that all men are lured by evil.
Our aim to turn saints to serve the great beast,
A tool we use is God’s gift of free will.

We find that all men are lured by evil
We sear the conscience and saints seek our way.
A tool we use is God’s gift of free will,
God’s betrayers are among us today.

We sear the conscience and saints seek our way,
We take up our seat in church and abbey.
God’s betrayers are among us today,
My name is Legion, for we are many.

Level Paths (Proverbs 4)
Wisdom,
protector and watcher of my soul,
embrace me.
Set grace upon my head.
Guide me for I have
walked the path of evil men,
eaten the bread of wickedness,
drank the wine of violence,
stumbled in the deep, dark
way of the wicked.
Protect my heart,
the wellspring of my life.
For now I seek
level paths
of righteousness.

The Last Sayings of Jesus (Kyrielle)
Looking down on the angry crowd,
Beaten body at its weakest,
Our savior spoke to those around,
Seven last sayings of Jesus.

Father forgive these ones who kill,
Their acts against him were grievous.
For Satan did their spirits will,
Seven last sayings of Jesus.

You’ll be with me in paradise,
There his father’s love was ceaseless.
The thief escaped what men devised,
Seven last sayings of Jesus.

Son your mother, mother your son,
His mother would not be helpless.
Spoken with a son’s compassion,
Seven last sayings of Jesus.

Father, have you abandoned me?
His sorrow was at its deepest.
How he needed God’s face to see,
Seven last sayings of Jesus.

Please give me drink, for I do thirst,
His body trembled with weakness.
Bitter wine came on sponge immersed,
Seven last sayings of Jesus.

It’s over now; at last it ends,
He surrendered to man’s meanness.
His weary soul would homeward wend,
Seven last sayings of Jesus.

Oh Father God my soul is yours,
He finally escaped man’s fierceness.
At last to reach heav’ns friendly shores,
Seven last sayings of Jesus.

Sing Praises (Psalm 66)
Verse 1
Let all the earth God’s praises sing,
Sing glory, glory to his name.
Come bring to Him your offerings,
His strength and might to all proclaim.

Chorus:
Praise the God of our creation,
Praise Him, men of every nation.
We each are blessed with his great love,
Give glory to the God above.

Chorus

Verse 2
How awesome are Jehovah’s deeds,
With his great might he brings us aid;
Preserves our lives, supplies our needs,
With miracles his strength displays.

Chorus

Verse 3
By his pow’r God rules forever,
He watches nations with his eyes.
We have been refined as silver,
And his great love preserves our lives.

Chorus:

Verse 4
You who fear God hear me declare,
What our great God has done for me:
He has listened, heard my prayer,
And filled my life abundantly.

Chorus

The Master’s Feet (Quatern)
Those who sat at the Master’s feet,
Brothers who fished in waters deep,
Threw down their nets and followed Him,
Forsaking all to fish for men.

The crowds pressed ‘round to hear Him speak,
Those who sat at the Master’s feet,
Those who he said would be a light,
For others lost in dark of night.

In the upper room hands were rung,
When told a traitor was among,
Those who sat at the Master’s feet,
With emblems of Himself to eat.

The Master’s mother held her breath,
When savage men cried for his death,
And vainly struggled to defeat,
Those who sat at the Master’s feet.

A Sinner Set Free (Song)
Verse 1
I once was in chains, in bondage to sin,
The sorrows of life I could not transcend.
My time on this earth would one day be o’er,
All that I prized would be left at death’s door.

Chorus
Now I am free, I’m a sinner set free.
Jesus has saved and sanctified me.
I’ll be with my Lord for eternity,
I am a sinner, a sinner set free.

Verse 2
I knew that earth’s treasures soon would decay,
All the joys of this life were slipping away.
Then a good friend talked to me about Christ,
How grace came my way through his sacrifice.

Chorus

Verse 3
Now I’ve abandoned my old life of sin,
I opened my heart and Jesus came in.
He was there knocking, just waiting for me.
He cast off my chains; his grace set me free.

Chorus

Behold Your Son (Quatern)
Woman, woman behold your son,
In manger lies the Holy One.
Wondrous star in heaven aglow,
Christ the babe in swaddling clothes.

In desert heat, the baptized one,
Woman, woman behold your son.
Satan tempting the Great High Priest,
Son of Man resists fallen beast.

Athirst for blood a vicious mob,
Curses the Christ as he is flogged.
Woman, woman behold your son,
Condemned to die, the wounded one.

Beneath the cross, a loving pair,
Christ gives his mother to John’s care.
Says to Mary, his last breath drawn,
Woman, woman, behold your son.

Judas (Kyrielle Sonnet)
Judas, you recline next to me,
You dip your hand into my bowl.
You will be the devil’s trophy,
And I can see inside your soul.

One must betray the Son of Man,
My life-blood is in your control.
The die was cast when time began,
And I can see inside your soul.

Though you deny you’ll be the one,
Your acts against me were foretold.
You’ll accomplish what was written,
And I can see inside your soul.

Judas, you recline next to me,
And I can see inside your soul.

My Final Years (Kyrielle Sonnet)
Oh Lord, I’ve giv’n my life to thee,
The day of my departure nears.
I cannot see what’s left for me.
What will be in my final years?

Will my life slowly fade away,
And my memory remain clear?
Or body strong my mind then stray?
What will be in my final years?

To know that I am failing would,
Be more painful as death comes near.
I cannot choose if e’en I could.
What will be in my final years?

Oh Lord, I’ve giv’n my life to thee,
What will be in my final years?

Water Upon the Fields (Job 5) (Quatern)
He sends water upon the fields,
And the lowly he sets on high.
To the needy he gives a shield,
On his justice the good rely.

Dark falls on the evil by day.
He sends water upon the fields,
And schemes of the foul sweeps away.
The fate of the wicked are sealed.

God injures but also he heals,
He rescues his own from the sword.
He sends water upon the fields,
The poor find their hope in the Lord.

To trouble we surely are born,
And heartache and pain are life’s yield.
But God lifts us up when we mourn,
He sends water upon the fields.

Freedom (Monchielle)
For me, to live is Christ.
In Him his children live.
To serve is to be free.
For me, to die is gain.
Christ dwells inside of me.

For me, to live is Christ.
Forgive and be forgiven.
Be selfless and be praised.
Give all and then receive.
Live free but be a slave.

For me, to live is Christ.
The cost of sin is death.
His saved are dead to sin.
Christ’s saving grace is free.
His spirit dwells within.

For me, to live is Christ.
To follow is to lead.
You will not suffer loss.
Be His and become free.
Take up the Savior’s cross.
