Rhapsody
Gazing at your photograph,
sitting atop the piano,
melancholy feelings,
bring tears to my eyes,

lighting the candles,
softly, I play our song,
whispering shadows, dance,
around your haunting green eyes,

Intoxicating my mind,
a medley of sensuous,
encounters, rush in,
I feel your presence,

you are here, sitting next to me,
touching me softly,
the essence of you,
filling the room,

   A serenade of love,
   enchanting the night

Darkness Falls
When darkness falls,
will you be here beside me,
to still my fears,
and, with gentle voice, tame my heart,

Will you softly stroke my hair,
and sooth my mind,
will you be here,
laying beside me,

moonglow playing over your face,
to reveal a smile,
teasing the dark,
lighting the night,

When darkness falls,
and stars are glinting,
the night is whispering,
    Will you be here,
    till morning comes?

Song Of Night
Whispered love words,
tickle and tease,
as night falls,
moonlight beckons,
calling lovers,
from the shadows,
to dance upon,
the moonbeams

Ghost Ride
Each night,
as the moonlight shines,
and shadows abound,
the clock strikes midnight,

she rides across the bridge,
on a spirited black horse,
with thundering hooves,
seeking her lover,
    "They have only minutes"

he is riding to meet her,
they would meet in the middle,
he hears his love,
riding with a fury,

he sits watching her cross,
she is more lovely than ever,
she reaches his side,
with a smile for her lover,

She reaches for his hand,
As their hands touch for a moment,
they fatefully vanish,
into a whisper of smoke
     "Going back to the grave"

Heart Beats
I gave you my heart, as well
      As loving words of rhyme
And so I gave all my love:

I gave my arms upon a day
As a gift of eternal love
I gave my hands as well.

It may be said, I lost my heart
      these things you took from me;
And so I gave you more.

I gave you tender kisses
And all my dreams were of you:
I gave you my soul as well.

I said it may be possible
your love enchanted me as well,
I gave you all of me.

I gave my laughter, as beats of song
Wrapped it in with glow of moon
I gave you my heart
And so I gave it all.

Blackberry Bramble
Far-away places,
seeking the beat of your heart,
times long past,
dreams and dwellings, never forgotten,

Spirits, anecdotes and giggles,
hidden in love songs and photographs,
the reddest red roses,
spill over,

minute hummingbirds hover,
on tiny beating wings,
inflamed by dancing sunbeams,
blackberry bramble scatter thorns,
of muse,

pursuing dust covered stones,
down winding trails,
embraced by the years,
love resides forever,

etched in the swarthy shadows,
as moonlight falls over,
nights darkened cover.

Love
In the span of a life-time
We may fall in love more than once
One of these loves,
never to be forgotten
squeezes the heart,
over and over and again
Standing out above the others
Like a single red rose,
in a white bouquet

Lovers And Moonlight
Come to me my lover
Love says, you cannot deny me
Take off your clothes, stay a while
Hold on to me, on and on and on
Till the sun is breaking
Soon we shall be old
Nothing can be done
But tonight,
It's life as it's being lived
By the moon's reflection
