Spring
S   pring, the child of Winter,
P   ropels herself through
R  osy sunrise, breaking forth
I   nto her joyous dance, emerging from the cold, dark
N  ight, cracking open season's door of 
G  aiety and light.

Summer
S  weet singing sparrows, sitting
U  nder shady elms, greet
M orning's warmth as golden 
M eadows smile and nod their gay approval.  Pure
E  ssence flows, offering its multitudinous colors in
R  ainbows and red-winged blackbirds.

Autumn
A  utumn casts her long, dark shadows
U  nderneath once dazzling-colored liquidambers
T  urning their wrinkled faces to parched and withered browns ~
U  ndoing Summer's scenery.
M usical, wailing winds
N  ow come, to sing their lonely swan song.

Winter
W inter's snowy blanket of white
I    nduces magical sleep and dreams
'N eath shimmering stars and smiling moon while
T   he 'Queen of the Seasons' feeds the thirsty
E   arth and starts her silent work,
R   eawakening her icy fire within.

Autumn Carousel
A  utumn struts her showy gowns
U  under misty skies of gray
T  hose brilliant reds, greens, yellows, browns
U  ndo the cold, dark, chilling day.
M  aster painter, with her brush
N  ow marches forth with nature's blush.

C  arouselling through the trees
A  utumn marches, banners flying
R  ichness of her tapestries
O 'er the hills, before the dying.
U  nderneath the windswept sky
S  he dances wild with sisters, brothers
E  verlasting moods fly high ~
L  ife's carousel of changing colors.

Thanksgiving
T  hankful families join in prayer
H  appy gatherings everywhere
A  utumn feasts with treasured friends
N  ew Year's ending; old year ends
K  indled fires on hearth will bring
S  miles and warmth from hearts that sing
G rateful songs on Thanksgiving
I   n each happy, pulsing heart
V eneration plays its part
I  nvitations; doorbells ring
N earby, the chapel's  'Ding-dong-ding!'
G rateful praise on Thanksgiving!

Happy Holidays
H appy days
A re always spent as
P erfect days with
P leasant friends ~
Y esterday's toil, forgotten.

H olidays,
O ur time to be with
L oving , friendly company
I ndifferent to the woesome
D ays of worry, toil and trouble ~
A iry days for which we
Y earn and always turn, no
S truggle.
