Additional Poet Information: I love art, poetry, and music. I have been writing poetry for the past 20 years, but seriously since 1997. My poetry changes as my life interests and experiences change. I have been the web-mistress for Poetry for Thought poetry forum since October 1999. My members are awarded certificates for Poet of the Week, Poet of the Month and Year, monthly contests, and include talented poets from all over the globe.
I flew the friendly skies for 34 years before my retirement in July 2003. I have been an Aura Photographer since 1997. I became a Reiki Master/Teacher in May 2002 and a Karuna Reiki Master in April 2003. I have studied aroma therapy using grade A essential oils for physical and emotional health.
I volunteer as an American Sign Language interpreter in my spare time. Other interests are reading, swimming, traveling, Egyptian artifacts and movies. I live with Michael, my husband since Dec. 1981, and my 19 year old daughter, Michelle, in Hawaii.
