How long have you been writing poetry?: Since the 1950s, but more seriously in the past 10 years.

What/Who inspires you to write?: Walks and reading everything I can read. Two high school English teachers encouraged me to read and write poetry when I attended high school.

Writing Awards, Publications, and other Achievements: Normal Thomas Memorial Award from Lyrical Iowa in 2004. Published a collection of poems, Seeing Through Gray Colored Lens, Trafford Publishing 2003.
