How long have you been writing poetry?: I have written poetry since 1st grade.

What/Who inspires you to write?: I am inspired to write by the joys and sorrows of my life and others lives; also by walking in the woods, gardening and spending precious time alone. I also had parents who read, told us lots of stories and sang. I think that this helped me to learn to love rhythm and rhyme.

Writing Awards, Publications, and other Achievements: I have had the privilege of being sought for publication and have been invited to a local middle school to read some of my poems. I have not shared much so this is the first platform I have sought. CRT, CH., CHP., NC.
