Venus On The Half Shell "Venus On The Half Shell (Small Poetry Press, 1996) is a 35 page chapbook of witty verse by Deborah P. Cooper who uses rhyme skillfully in these clever poems." - Comstock Review

"The goddess is alive and well within this superb collection. It is not only highly intelligent, but Cooper is a master of visual metaphor. The collection moves from serious and realistic to deliciously humorous. This chapbook is a must-have for every poetry lover's collection." - Demitra Flanagan, Editor, Oatmeal & Poetry magazine, 1997.

"This is lively poetry employing both rhythm and rhyme, deliberately fun in a manner similar to that...in which many of the formal 17th century poets are fun." - Dave Castleman, Mandrake Poetry Review, 1997.
