She strolled down the beach not knowing what to do, she was being tested and she hated that.
The love of her life was engaged in conversation with another woman. He looked at her out of the corner of his eye and knew she would be upset. After all, she was a jealous person. He noticed her and kept talking waiting to see what she would do next.
He was tall, handsome with a beautiful summer tan. His shorts were white accentuating the length of his legs. His shirt was black adding to the elegance of his clothes. He wore no shoes for they were on the beach.
The woman wore a bathing suit exposing most of her beautiful body. She was tall, slender, and fair skinned with beautiful long dark hair. Almost his height, she was able to look in his eyes.
Her pace quickened as she thought “she has nothing over me.” Being slender with curves in the right places gave her the upper hand. She was a little sun burned; it was hard to believe that her skin was so sensitive.
As she made her way over to the love of her life and the other woman, the conversation was loud and clear. Their laughter seemed to echo in the water. This made her furious and her step quickened until she finally reached them.
Placing her hand on the woman’s shoulder she quickly turned her around, only to be confronted with the face of her best friend she had not seen in a few years.
On that hot summer day, as they stood by the beach they laughed and reminisced over old memories.
