Member Announcement

From Debbie Berk of 526 Palindrome Place - In January of this year I started my own literary e-zine, The Stray Branch. I publish two issues a year, Spring/Summer and a Fall/Winter issue. The Stray Branch will be appearing as a listing in The Poet's Market. For more information and submission guidelines visit the site. Currently taking submissions for issue 2. I take submissions from october through july, looking for poetry, short stories and artwork.

Word Masters Triple Challenge

The new Word Masters Triple Challenge is an activity that can be used as a writing tool/exercise or a contest. There are three levels to the challenge as hinted in the name. Shadow Poetry will provide an image or piece of art monthly with a subject title and a list of words to use in creating a poem. These pieces of inspiration can be used alone or together; however, those using all three elements and submitting their poem for consideration for the contest have a chance to win prizes.
