Example:
Scream of Silence
Encompassed by grief, as darkness surrounds,
That deep inner scream of silence's greed;
Life's knocks and falls hit with a startling scream,
A man on his knees, drowned tears of sorrow.
Life path alight with true maternal star,
Nursing the ailments of a childhood grown;
A wise word spoken and a strength to lean,
Guidance only sought on her apron strings.
Smiles of kindness held the children's esteem,
A higher branch on their family tree;
Fear now threatens their peaceful existence,
The safety net's cast to capture his fall.
Death has stolen living ties of Love's bond,
Free from suffering, tomorrow's sun's warmth.
